You feel like you are holding your breath

No air to breath

No place to feel safe

Everyone you once knew will leave you behind

You can’t learn to trust

Everyone will just break you more

You bring yourself down

No one to bring you back up

All your strength is gone

You’ve fallen and there’s no hope of getting up

If only someone understood

The darkness you’re going through

This free verse has a lot of meaning, a lot of deep feelings. Mariely Gamboa-Clara is a very deep writer.
